Warranty Terms

1. Coverage

Vipissyfan Ltd warrants the Vipissyfan Smart Thermostat (the "Product") against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of original purchase. This warranty applies only to the original end-user purchaser and is non-transferable.

2. What is covered

During the warranty period, Vipissyfan Ltd will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any defective Product or component free of charge. The warranty covers malfunctions arising from normal use in a residential environment, including faults in the thermostat unit, programmer module, and the supplied wiring centre.

3. What is not covered

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by improper installation not carried out by a qualified professional.
• Damage resulting from accident, misuse, liquid contact, fire, or acts of nature.
• Cosmetic blemishes that do not affect the functionality of the Product.
• Consumable parts, such as batteries, unless defective upon delivery.
• Products whose serial numbers have been removed, altered, or made illegible.
• Software issues arising from unauthorised modifications or third-party integrations not approved by Vipissyfan.

4. How to obtain warranty service

To make a claim, contact Vipissyfan Ltd using the details below. You will need to provide proof of purchase, a description of the fault, and the Product's serial number. If a return is authorised, we will supply a prepaid shipping label. The Product must be returned in its original packaging or equivalent protective packaging.

5. Your statutory rights

This warranty is offered in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK consumer protection laws. For full details of your legal rights, contact Citizens Advice or a local Trading Standards office. The warranty does not affect these rights.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vipissyfan Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Product. Vipissyfan's total liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the Product or a refund of the original purchase price, at company’s discretion.
